About

Federico Pezzatini is a Composer, with a wide range of influences and the skill to combine different genres together. His interest falls in particular towards mixing popular and classical music with sound textures, and experimentation; his experience and musical knowledge draw from Blues, Jazz, Soul, Classical, Rock, Funk, Progressive, Electronic, and Ambient.

 

After graduating in 2018 with a Bachelor in Music Performance, Federico has developed strong skills as a composer. His tutors, Audrey Riley (Arranger for Muse, Coldplay, Foo Fighters, Birdy) for Composition for Live Ensemble and Michael Hyman (BBC, Blue Sky Media) for Composition for Media educated Federico in the art of composition. His work "Keeping the Way", has been performed by Audrey Riley’s String Quartet at the North London Tavern.

In 2023 he graduated in Music for Images at the "Civica Scuola di Musica Claudio Abbado" with the highest mark. In these three years, Federico had experience recording musicians, experimenting with Electronics, the narrative mechanisms of a story.

He is currently studying in Lugano MA in Music Composition and Theory at the Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana.
