Domestic violence is the theme of this short movie: the victim's dream tells the story of her pain and the courage to defend herself. 

My personal vision was to follow the theme of violence throughout the film: the first part declined into an epic battle, and the second part becomes much more intimate and real. 

Therefore, I used odd time signatures and aggressive sounds to highlight the chaotic pace of the fight. Once the protagonist awakes, the music turn into a contemporary score:  the small melodic phrase from the dream section, becoming her lament answered with dissonance.
