Successful music for advertisement resides in the composer's ability to tell a story in a short amount of time. This is why I believe that every single musical aspect must convey the required message. Below are a few examples of how I approached it. 

Vestiti di Tutti i Colori (2021)

The keyword that emerges both from the image and the slogan is 'colour'. To translate this concept into music, I immediately thought of a multitude of timbral elements, particularly percussion, as they are associated with movement, dance, and celebration. All of this was meant to coincide with the Pixelation technique of the video, the choreography, and the very bright color grading. The crescendo, after reaching its peak around the middle, concludes by leaving the stage with extended chords in its mid-low register, rhythmically stretched, making room for the voice enucniating the motto.

DAI Hermetic Coffee (2020)

The client asked for a modern soundworld giving a relaxing sensation, recalling the coffee break. Hence the choice was to use a laid-back Lo-Fi track with the rhythm pulling back and very soft, rounded sounds.
